March is National Women’s History Month and a special opportunity to recognize the achievements and contributions of women to our nation.

On March 29th, Women in Defense Central Florida Chapter (WID CFL) hosted a panel discussion featuring women who serve as military and defense leaders during its annual Women’s History Month event.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to the panelists: Colonel Heather L. McGee , US Air Force, Lieutenant Colonel Jovanna O. Nelson, US Army Reserves,  First Sergeant Daila Espeut-Jones, US Army Retired and our panel moderator Diana Teel, Outreach Director, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD).   The panel members shared their stories on opportunities, challenges and the skills that helped them succeed in their military careers.  It was an honor to recognize the service of these amazing women!   We also thank Soar Technology Inc. for hosting the event at their facility and to all those who attended the event.
