Throughout 2019, Women In Defense Central Florida Chapter (WID CFL) will celebrate 10 years of helping women achieve their professional goals and performing educational outreach. It is an honor to serve as President of the Central Florida Chapter as we achieve this monumental milestone. The theme for our anniversary is “A Decade of Butterfly Effects”. This theme encourages us to reflect on how individuals and small teams can take actions that lead to significant impact on America’s defense and national security.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the Research Park/East Orlando area for our capstone event to mark this important anniversary. Our celebration will include a WID CFL Leadership Panel starting at 5pm featuring the President and CEO of the National Defense Industrial Association, Gen. Herbert J. “Hawk” Carlisle, USAF (Ret), former Commander of US Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command, Gen. Lori Robinson, USAF (Ret) and US Special Operations Command Director of Science and Technology, Lisa Sanders. Following the panel, we will continue our celebration with a networking cocktail hour. Please stay posted for more exciting details during the next months.

We are so grateful for all the support we have received over the years from you – our members and community partners. We look forward to a new decade of continued cooperation in support of our nation’s defense and security.

Best regards,

Karen Fray
